Our Principles

All the work that we complete is based upon three core principles.

By adhering to these principles (with a little bit of FinOps for good measure) we believe we can acheive the best solution for our clients.

Simple

With all the different technologies available today, it is very easy to design and build solutions that are overly complex or may be too complex for junior engineers. Over the past few years we have seen that some of our new customers have been unable to support solutions deployed by other consultancies. Their own engineers didn't have the relevant skills requiring ongoing support from there incumbent consultancy. By reducing complexity and removing technologies that had no benefit, they became self sufficient.

Scalable

When designing and building cloud solutions, scalability should be built in from the beginning. Ensuring that a solution can scale from inception allows for quicker cloud adoption, reducing the risk of scaling issues further down the line.

Whether this is scaling from a resource (e.g. Compute) or from a process (e.g. DevOps pipelines) perspective, getting things right first time should minimise re-factoring.

Secure

Our designs and are based upon Secure By Design and Zero trust concepts. Every organisation is different, each with their own risk appetite. We work with the organisations to establish the right level of security that meets their requirements from both a risk and financial perspective.
